IR Echo

Is there any way to set up the Slink-e to echo IR commands? I'd like to have an IR receiver in one room that is connected to the Slink-e on the Parallel port IR number 1, and have that echo to an IR Transmitter in another room that is connected to the slink-e on the Parallel port IR number 2.

Is that possible?
