lowLevel device

I am now using the lowlevel device driver. My pC program registers CDJ (two devices, one to transmit and one to receive) with the slink server and one lowlevel device named SENDIR. Everything seems to work okay, I am able to send IR bursts to anything I want. I noticed two things though.

The bursts were being echoed on the IR reciever, which I was able to stop by turning off routing and disabling the IR receive ports (all of them). I still get messages for the lowlevel device (Device=SENDIR)

I still get messages from the slink ports (SL0) This is the one that CDJ is using. I assume that CDJ is also getting these messages so I have nothing really wrong (I hope, anyone please comment?). I am wondering if there is any way to turn off the lowlevel messages coming from the server to the registered lowlevel device (SLINKIR) and yet keep them going to CDJ?
