I've built the mixer to link VCR audio and a 7-CD changer through the computer to a set of 900 MHz cordless headphones. (I need to listen to something while at the lab...) Anyway, it works as advertized; I'm happy with it, it took only about 20 minutes (if that) to wire up, and it doesn't degrade the signal noticeably (although the volume level decreases, as noted in the plans). Note, however, that I am using cordless headphones, and am not trying to listen to the first stanzas of Bolero.
