I have also seen this behavior many times on my CDPCX300. (Note: I have a CDPCX270 which has never exhibited the problem.) To "revive" the slots I manually press the open/close button (with CDJ running), set the dial to the missing slot, and then press the play button. The disc will start playing and CDJ will recognize it again.
Obviously this is a hassle and there must be some way to prevent this from happening in the first place.
Anyone have any suggestions?
