Keywords field in CDJ database

I want to use the keyords field in the CDJ database to hold the fact that the CD is a DTS CD. I know I can enter the word DTS for example in the keywords field of a CD entry by using Access. My question is does CDJ ever overwrite this field and if so when. Also I can find no documentation on how to have CDJ make entries in this field although it can be searched using the search function.

I want this capability since I need to mute certain amplifiers (the ones that feed the house speakers) when playing a DTS CD to avoid possible damage to these speakers. The system is working and doing that now, I am just not certain on the limitations of the Keywords field.
