I have also have the same problem, it seems to lock up when certain IR codes are fired I.e.: my old JVC receiver, pressing the volume buttons too long will cause The Data in the Slink window in CDJ to stop scrolling..
When it locks up, if I send another IR command from a different remote (Sony) into IR rx0 it seems to unlock it, but then the data rushes in to the Slink Window as it tries to catch up, it may take several minutes until CDJ displays the correct data about what track is playing....
I have been dealing with this problem for about 8 months..
