Yes, I did get mail from Colby at Nirvis asking if the problem could be reproduced if the slink-e serverwas run manually on the server first. I haven't yet had a chance to try - actually, I haven't seen the problem at all lately. (knock on wood.)
Is your setup similar to mine? IE Win 2000 server, Win 98 client, using slink-e over dcom? Maybe between the two of us we can narrow down the problem a bit.
