One way to check if you have the beta is to look at the CDJID. In the beta version it holds 16 chars.

The date on mine is Feb 12...

As for the Playlist, on my Win98 SE, following is the situation:

- dubble click on playlist: Error(can't find file or components)

- Drag Playlist File, Drop on CDJbeta, works fine...

- Commandline works as well, as long as I put the playlist filename between quotes e.g.: cdjbeta "play.pla"

The DDE commands look strange "open - print - printo" however I have no real DDE experiance so .....
