CDP-CX350s

I have 5 CDP CX350s connected to Slink-e as follows.

3 of them set as CD1/2/3 on one slink-e port 2 of then set as CD1/2 on another slink-e port

my other 2 CDP-CX 260s are on another slink-e port as CD1/3

is this the best setup?? Also, I have a DXS...connected to a Slink-e port...but it is not recognised...should this be the case.

Lastly..may not be a CDJ issue, but when occasionally reading a disk, a player makes a clicking noises....anyone experienced this??
