There has been an outpouring of DCOM related solutions on this list and on the slinke mailing list. Chekc out the archives. We would love to go with sockets as DCOM seems to be pretty scketchy on non NT machines. It's all a matter of programming time hwever which we are in short supply of. If someone wants to take our low level code and socket enhance it we would gladly incoporate it into the product.
