Re: Common Problem with Sony Players?

The player will try 5-10 times to access the disc. It makes the same sound as when it (when working properly) is initially cueing up the disc. It sounds like short spurts of motor activity in the player. On, off, on, off, etc. Each cycle about one second in duration. It is not disc dependant.

This the second player that's had this problem and both players exhibited the same behavior with and without the Slink-e attached.
