'pause' icon when the player is actually playing

When I select a track or disk to play directly from the library list, the player window in the 4/7 version shows a 'pause' icon when the player is actually playing. This does not happen when the disk/track is started from the playlist window.
Maybe this has something to do with the problem others are having where the track/title information is not displayed in the title bar?
