Can't access mdb tables in CDJ anymore!!

Hmmm, don't know what happened, but I had an intermediate database (access 97) that was accessing the tables in CDJ (user.mdb) and converting the information to appropriate table format in my PHAST Landmark database (it worked great using the MS Jet access method). Now (about a week later, and a lot of playing around with CDJ), I am trying to access again and when I try to access the user.mdb for CDJ I get a runtime error in VB '3343', "unrecognized database format". Any attempt to compact, repair, etc does not work. Anyone know what would have changed the database format in CDJ (e.g. bug via certain option settings, loading and then reloading CDs to the tables, ...)? CDJ otherwise seems to be working fine.
