Not unless you've told the "server" to send you cdj messages.

You can find an example of this in the sample apps that ship with cdj...

This will let you "send" CDJ commands using the "cdj" device, and "receive" CDJ responses from the "cdjr" device.

In your VB application, you must load the device files for any device you'd like to communicate with. The devices loaded in CDJ are not automatically available to your application - This includes CD Changers which are loaded "automatically" by CDJ.
