Thanks for the input, I picked up the parts for the master/slave device yesterday, and hope to get building this weekend. I am going to attempt to have the relay switch the composite video output (Sony vs PC to TV)as well. Could be interesting.

On the IR - is there a device file already built to control CDJ (pause, stop, ff, etc) from a universal remote? I have a box of remote controls, and I should be able to emulate IR for just about anything.
