Database format

I tried to access the database with Access-97, but I got 'invalid format'. What version of access are you using, or is it not MS-Access you are using ? I want to export, modify and reimport my data, because I added a second CD-Changer to my system, and the new one (Sony CDP-CX 450) has to be number one, and the old one number three. So I want to transfer all discs and titles in the database from one to three. How would you do this ?
