I thought you could do long file names... In any case, you could probably leave the files in the long file name directories and use the short syntax. For example "C:\Program Files" is usually "C:\Progra~1". From Win95 or Win98, simply drop to the DOS prompt and do a dir and you should see the short name on the left and the long file names on the right. I know it isn't pretty but it will probably work, if that is the real problem.
