WTD: Used Slink-e

Anyone have a used Slink-e forsale? I am interested in playing around with programming this device.

Has anyone created abstract C or C++ interfaces/classes that can layer on top of Slink-e, DSX, PSR, etc. solutions for controlling audio/video equipment through S-link/Control-A1/etc?

If I'm going to write software I'd prefer to not have to rewrite this foundational pieces that allows software to be used with different device vendors.
