Ahhh, I figured out what I was doing wrong. I wasn't addressing which device on the S-link bus the commands should be sent to. I was sending out 152 which was what the CD changer was sending out when I was sending commands. I needed to prefix my commands with 144 to address Slink device 0 and all works now!!
