Slinkx C++ problems

I was fooling around with the ctvremote source files and attempted to alter it to talk to my Sony 200 cd carosel (sp). It looked like a simple task, just edit the m_SlinkX.AddDevice call to use the cdsls.cde device file and send the power_on command. But nothing happens on the cd player. The player is set to 1 on the back of it. Can anyone help me with the correct parameters for the adddevice call. I only have one slinke and it works perfectly with CDJ. Is the cdsls.cde the default device file that CDJ users? Help...
