DB-9 pinout

I have purchased 100ft of CAT 5 cable to allow the remote placement of the Slink-e. I also have modular to DB-9 adapters. Could someone please tell me how to pinout the adapters. The wires are colored red,orange,green,blue,yellow,white,brown and black. Thank you for your assistance.
