I had already re-installed the previous version (9-16?) when I got that responce to my message. I decided to upgrade back to the latest version, checked the filenames, and suddenly everything worked again. It paused for longer than "normal" at the "automation" message, but it continued loading and seems to work now.

Not that I think this will fix your problem too, I just thought I'd throw that bit of oddness in to the mix.
