yes, john, it was in the player.  ps- not being familiar with the protocol
of the list vs the bbs, i asked david.  his answer was that they accomplish
the same thing but some prefer one vs the other. and that colby reads both.
and that we should feel free to posting list material of interest to others.

so i went back to the bbs to see where this issue was left and it was left
unresolved.

i need more experience with my setup before i push this further but i can
well imagine how frustrating this will be if it is a not too infrequent
occurance.  and i personally would place the priority of a 'fix' way ahead
of things such as CDJ talking, a better GUI, etc.
