I have just started looking into controlling a CD-changer with a PC and was wondering if one of the "fancy" serial-to-miniplug cables (e.g., s-linke or s-converter) is required to use the PC software. I have a basic serial-to-miniplug cable (not even sure what piece of equipment it came with), and was wondering what would happen if I tried to use CDJ or DiscJockey with it. Thanks for any help.
