[slinkelist] Disappearing Disks

Pete,

I have had the dropped disk problem as well, but the problem that I am
describing is not related to the mechanism. For some reason the missing
disk, or more likely, disks appear in the library, but CDJ looses track of
what player and what slot they are in. If I search for the disks using CDJ
sometimes they are found and sometimes not. If I search using the search
every slot option. this usually works best and will often find the missing
disks, but sometimes the disks stay missing and if I search just the slot I
know the disk is in, I get similair results as well, sometimes found,
sometimes not. I really dont know if there is a solution to this, but I am
thinking of switching all the missing disks to another changer and see if
its the actual CD that is problematic or the changer. The missing CD's seem
to be random and not related to the changer they are in, but some CD's
appear to be repeat offenders and get lost frequently, so Im not sure what
is causing the problem.

Dale
