[slinkelist] Obstinate STR-DE825, CDP-CX220 and optical connections

This is not a bug, this is a feature of sony receiver and juke box when they
are connected via a slink cable. If you turn on the juke box and start
playing a CD, the receiver is automatically turned on and CD input (analog)
is selected. If then you start playing a sony MD (hooked via slink) the
receiver selects MD input. And so on. I believe the only way to disable this
feature is using separate buses to connect each equipment to the slink box,
this way the receiver and the juke box will not see each other.

Francisco.

Hmm, so even if I have the line:

cdjr:using_player[cd1] {AMP:input_dvd/ld}

in maps.txt?

Is this just an DE825 bug?

If the 825 receiver and the CX220 player are hooked together via a slink
cable, every time you do a simple thing as to play, pause or resume, the
receiver selects the analog CD input.
One way to circumvent this characteristic is to link the receiver and the
player to slink-e separately, using two different buses is the slink-e box.
And not linking the player and the receiver at all.

Regards,
Francisco Toledo.
