My program just records the playlist to Wave files.

There is then a choice of programs that batch convert
these waves to mp3.

  Gerrard:

Interested in sharing what you did so far so it can be expanded? Did =
you take on inserting ID3 information into the MP3's you built? That =
seems an important step for sharing the files with others and/or =
converting from CD's to MP3's in CDJ in an automated fashion. Does your =
Audio Catalyst utility permit ID3 information to be inserted? Do you =
have a lead on a utility for reading ID3 information from MP3's?

  Tom.

Last year I built a Delphi App to record the playlist on
Wave files and then converted the WAVE files to MP3.

I first tried BLADEENC at 128k but found Audio Catalyst
with VBR at 128k produced a better sounding result
