On the amps I have seen this is a physical switch, and not "controllable"

 You could leave both on, then switch them with relays off the slinke's
digitial i/o ports - there is an example of using the slinke to control
relays at:  http://www.nirvis.com/masterslave.htm

A different application, but concept would work. You'd need four relays (one
for each audio channel), but the slinke has enought digital ports to
handle...
