comments after first days w/ slinke & CX240

I got my slinke yesterday and have just started playing with it. I have a CDP-CX240 and CDP-CE515.

It didn't take long to discover that changer must not be in program mode when trying to get CDJ to look for discs.

I also have not been able to get CDJ to reach a CDDB server. I tried on a Win 98 box and Win 95 one. I guess I'll have to try loading some new dlls. BTW, does anyone know which CDDB protocol CDJ use, the one that runs over HTTP or the normal straight connection one?

Is it possible get CDJ to *fetch* the memo text from the changer? I know there is a command to do that because my Sony STR-DE815G receiver can get the memo data for its controller.
