It does work. The problem probably is that your receiver:vol+ command in your device file does not contain a sufficient "sleep" (period of off time) time at the end of the command. This causes the two commands to be too close together in time and in turn causes the device to ignore one or both of the commands. Try increasing the sleep period in your device file. Or is this a S-Link device?
