Thanks for your offer to see your programcode but I have found a solution. I run the VB script within my application with WinAPI command "ShellExecute". Then I can read the CDJ database via an interface-file in ASCII. It's a bit clumsy but for my application good enough. I only want to read the database. To maintain the database I intend to keep using CDJ. My program will be a lean, easy to use CD-play only program. CDJ is a magnificent piece of work but too complicated and bulky for just playing CD's. I think it's one of the reasons that it sometimes give so much trouble, considering the "complaints" on this BBS.
