Throw the beast out or sell it on ebay as I did. Then buy the Pioneer Elite 300 dvd changer (DVF-07). You will be much happier in the long run. If you can program (And if i remember right you can, the DV-F07 has full IR control plus Full RS232 control. The A/V qualities (IMHO) are better then the Sony, and the Interface makes much more sense.
With the Pioneer you can actually plug in a 2nd unit and it truly acts as a 600 slot unnit with a single control interface.
