Re: Party GUI --- Hmmm...I didn't write that program. There's a Visual Basic CE as well as C++ .....the problem will be communicating by whatever means to the server.

But, there is software out there for the Palm Pilot to turn the palm into a super remote (via the higher frequency IRDA port). And the Handspring Vison has a learning remote attachment for greater distance "IR'ing" as well as a cell phone attachment to call the help desks when it doesn't work. And, now...it comes in color. That doesn't give you "two-way", however.

One needs an expensive wireless LAN attachment - probably more than the cost of the stereo.
