Rotel Remote Settings File

I have tried to load a device into CDJ so that I can have it turn my amp on, control volume, etc. It seems to load fine but when I added items to the map, the slink data window reports that XXX is not a known device name (where XXX is the name of the device I added).

Is this because the device file is an IR file and not an IRTXONLY file?

If this is true, I would like to create an IRTXONLY file, but cannot seem to find the appropriate XXXir.cde file to import as timing information. Does anyone have this (for a Rotel RC972 Pre-Amp)? If not, what are my options for acquiring one?
