The dock for my VAIO laptop (XG-19) has a Control-A1 II jack and a TOSlink output. As far as I know, however, there's no driver support for giving third-party applications access to the S-link port. You can use their MD/CD crippleware ("make custom mix MDs from your CDs by loading them into the CD-ROM drive one at a time..."), and that's about it.
