Slinke & Niles IR - direct connect

Craig,
If I understand correctly, your IRC-2 is flashing onto the Slinke. Yes? I'm glad it works; I'll probably do the same. I was wondering if anyone had directly (electronically) connected the Niles IR to Slinke and visa versa.
In the archives I read somewhere that the developer was working on some type of interface board. Does anyone have an update?
