I think the 16 zones must stay. 8 source inputs, 16 outputs. 1 allows me to signal any of the 8 inputs from any location; 15 are a room or area that are individually amped and include a pair of speakers, a SmartPad, and an IR-in/out.
Do you have a writeup yet that describes your adapter and how it would work? What I was hoping to use it for was tighter control of the zones (source selection, on/off, volume, mute, tone, and the source inputs) from the PCs via Slinke. Could I still use one adapter to control 6 of the zones? Thanks.
