Transferring memo text

Is there anyway to customize the memo text that gets transferred to the CD players from CDJ? I'm using a CDP-CX400 and CDP-CX450 which support only 13 characters, and I'd like to have something more readable for the CD players, while retaining the full title in CDJ.

I noticed there's a Memo Field in the database... I tried putting some text in there but it didn't seem to transfer. Is there a way to do this? It seems like it could be a rather simple yet very useful feature to add...
