Another approach for CD and Artist Memo

Hi,

I don't own a Slink-e (yet) as I really need a device that I can use to download CD names, Artist Names, Artist data, Group names and Group data (I have a CDP-CX450).

I have asked if this could be added to CDJ, and the answer was that it could if codes existed, and if they could be discovered (sony are not telling).

After doing some more research I have found that someone has succesfully used a parallel to S-link with IR built in to program the CD titles via the IR commands - not S-link.

Could someone tell me how easy it would be to use the Slink-e device to mimic the CD title and other data entry using the IR codes via the IR on the Slink-E. On the sony 2-way controller the alphanumeric characters are present, the only additional IR codes that would be needed are for the Menu button, and jog dial both on the front panel of the Changer.
