I also have two networked computers running windows me. I downloaded dcom and dcomcnfg from the internet. I'm not sure, but I think I found them on the microsoft site. Dcom is working fine for me.

See the link below for Virtual Networking. A free app that provides windowing and control to a host computer. Much easier, smaller, and less expensive than pc anywhere. I'm just a couple clicks away from controlling my home auto computer from any of the other computers in the house. It's very nice.
