Block Play Mode

Colby,

When My CX205 has been in block mode (playing without the slinke & CDJ) and I forget to take it out of block mode, then attempting to play a cd using CDJ outside the block causes CDJ to report the cd missing. If I have just told CDJ to do a random play and left it, this can result lots of slots that have to be re-read later. Any programming solutions for this?

I have been thinking that for now I could send a BLOCK SET command to the player on startup, then another BLOCK SET for a different block and finally a third BLOCK SET, this time for the SAME block. (e.g. Block Set 1, Block Set 2, Block Set 2). The first 2 BLOCK SETS (each for a different block) will guarantee that the second block is actually set, whether the initial player state was block on or block off - the 3rd set will turn the block set off, leaving the player in an "unblocked" state. Is there a better solution? Maybe a CDJ programming change?
