Re: CX220/CX240 losing memos

I ran a couple of quick experiments. I would download all the memos and then I would power off the CD player. My CX240 would lose the memo on the CD that it was either on or if it was on an empty slot, the memo of the CD it would pick to load.

It appears that the act of loading a CD into the actual player is causing the memo to be lost.

I then ran the experiment with the slink-e unplugged from the s-link bus. I power cycled the player and the memo didn't disappear.

Now I'm wondering if there is traffic on the s-link bus that's being misinterpred by the player.

BTW I don't normally turn off the player so the memos are also being lost through other ways. It appears to be some interaction with CDs being loaded.

I've looked at the s-link viewer and nothing obviously bad is happening.
