Yes, I think the CDP would have to be on a different bus since the non-text CD players respond with errors when queried.
Here's some food for thought: If this query text response was implemented, you could actually have CDJ emulate a CD player with the MP3 files. You would have a "virtual" CD jukebox that played MP3's and be controlled by your existing remotes in addition to providing the text feedback capability. You receiver wouldn't know the difference!!
