Through my SL9000 learning remote, I stumbled upon a Sony code to put the receiver into DEMO mode. It was kind of cool except that it blew away all of my custom preferences and stations I had set in the receiver.

Also, I recently came upon a way to get into the service menu of Sony TV's. You can do this by pressing the following sequence on your remote: DISPLAY, 5, VOL UP, POWER ON
