Have you considered breaking CDJ into several smaller dedicated programs that communicate with Slinkx? If I'm only playing playlists, I don't need a full-screen editor, for instance, and if I'm editing the ratings in my library (and correcting the astonishing number of errors in CDDB), I don't need to have my players wake up and turn on.
