Detecting players

Often I start playing a CD with the remote, then decide I want to browse
the collection - it seems recently CDJ has been stopping the player when
it scans for them. REMOTE OFF appears for a brief period on the display.
Can this be made optional on a future version? Its a bit of a pain :(
