Thanks for the info. But it is not obvious from the list of device files which ones I need. I have a Sony CDP-CX220 player and a

Sony STR-DE625 receiver. Which ones do I need? The Slink-e s-link port 0 is connected to the player which in turn is

daisy-chained to the receiver.

to send commands to a player, you need cdpcx200sls.cde. You don't really need to load this since CDJ does so automatically when it finds your player. If you are on ID1, SL0, the device would be named cdsls001. The S-Link commands for receivers are broken down into functional groups. The one which controls the volume and can turn the system off and on is sonyampsls.cde.
