Thanks for the info. But it is not obvious from the list of device files which ones I need. I have a Sony CDP-CX220 player and a Sony STR-DE625 receiver. Which ones do I need? The Slink-e s-link port 0 is connected to the player which in turn is daisy-chained to the receiver.

Also, I can't find the Slink-e version/model number anywhere on the box. Where is it?
