I have around 600 CD's and CDJ/CDDB only failed on about a dozen of them. Of course, I had more failures when I first used CDDB over a year ago (with another program). When I found something that was not there, I just entered the data and submitted it to CDDB. When I loaded my mega-changer, most of the disks not found earlier were now part of the CDDB.

There are several shareware programs available that will check CDDB and allow you to enter and submit new entries (also to make corrections to faulty entries). Keep in mind the CDDB only works because folks take the time to enter missing data and submit it.

Colby, several of the other programs accessing CDDB have a much larger list of CDDB mirror sites than CDJ. Several can query CDDB to update the list of available mirror sites.

For those interested, I recommend "CD Valet" and "Keep It Compact" (also called KiC2)
