I tried to use a Palm III with the OmniRemote Software via SLinke2 without success. EZLearn shows very garbled IR Commands when fed from the OmniRemote/Palm III system. The software offers the following IR carriers in the setup: 32.7 35.5 37.5 39.2 56.0 (and autoselect). SLinke doesn't accept these precise values, so I suspect this is a possible incompatibility reason. Does this make sense? Any ideas?

The Slink-e receiver carrier sensitivity is centered at 40kHz. Is should certainly work well at 37.5 and 39.2kHz. The Slink-e transmitter is programmable between DC and 2MHz in very small increments so there should be no problem there.

What is the signal you are trying to send? An emulation of some remote? IRDA? IRDA is too high of a data rate as I remember...
